The Casey family
"Our customers have watched our kids grow up — from the sale barn to the rodeo arena. That's what Tri-Pine Tack is. Not just a store. A family you've been following for years, and we're glad you're still here."

Our story
Serving the public since April 20th, 1957.
It started with Cal's grandfather, Calvin "Tink" Brown, who graduated from the Reppert School of Auctioneering in December 1956 and held his first auction four months later. His son-in-law Leon carried it on. Cal became a third-generation auctioneer, graduating from Reppert with honors himself. When COVID hit, we moved the operation to Facebook Live — and our customers followed us. Today, we sell live on Facebook, ship coast to coast, and still host an in-person auction the 2nd Saturday of each month at Northern Michigan Livestock in Gaylord, Michigan. We run it all the same way Tink always did: honest, personal, and with a handshake you can count on.
"Conducting your auction with wisdom, experience and ability that only four generations of professional auctioneers can provide."
1957 — Calvin "Tink" Brown holds his first auction. A family legacy begins.
1970s — Leon Casey steps in as the second generation, calling auctions across Michigan.
2000s — Cal Casey graduates Reppert with honors. Third generation. Tri-Pine Tack is born.
2021 — COVID closes the sale barn. We go live on Facebook and never look back.
Today — 7,000+ followers, coast-to-coast shipping, and the same family behind every single sale.
